For Carly Lorsung of CL Esthetics, aesthetics wasn’t her first career, it was her calling after a pivot.

Before becoming an esthetician, Carly worked in surgical dentistry, a career she deeply loved. But after years of physically demanding work, she knew she needed a change. Encouraged by her sister, she enrolled in esthetics school at 40, an intimidating leap that quickly became one of the best decisions of her life.

“Age wasn’t a setback,” Carly shares. “It was my advantage. I had confidence, life experience, and a deep desire to truly help people.”

Within months of graduating, Carly stepped into her own spa space, transforming it into the tropical-inspired sanctuary her clients now know and love. Her philosophy is simple: relaxation with results.
